Jon Rabideaux — the Minneapolis blues guitarist, vocalist, and harmonica player who won the Minnesota Blues Society’s 2024 Road to Memphis competition — takes the stage alongside Steve Solkela’s Overpopulated One Man Band, the wildly entertaining Iron Range musician who plays up to 24 instruments simultaneously.

Jon Rabideaux is a Minneapolis-based blues guitarist, vocalist, and harmonica player best known as the frontman of the Brother Jon Band. A lifelong musician, Jon has spent over 20 years performing across the Upper Midwest, blending authentic blues, rock, and roots music into a high-energy live experience. In 2024, his duo Brother Jon & Frensz won the Minnesota Blues Society’s Road to Memphis competition, earning them a spot at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Equal parts guitarist, storyteller, and showman, Jon is one of the most in-demand live performers on the Twin Cities circuit.

Steve Solkela is the “Funny Finn from Palo, MN” — a Finnish-American musician, comedian, and stuntman who plays up to 24 instruments simultaneously, all by himself, all at the same time. Featured on MPR News and a regular at the Minnesota State Fair, Steve’s Overpopulated One Man Band is one of the most genuinely unique live music acts in the country. Accordion on a skateboard.
